The burn at the end is a variation of an old comedic device, but its specific makeup was uttered somewhere at some time, I just don’t know when or where. I heard Dennis Miller on his radio show mention it attributing it to someone else in context of how he admired the shut-down, but I don’t remember the name. Miller delivered it much better than I did (I didn’t plan on using it before recording) and I tried to find the original but Google wasn’t helpful. I almost didn’t include it in the video because I don’t know who originally cooked up that comparison and almost assuredly have the #’s wrong (10 thousand miles away isn’t very far) but then I remembered that it’s a crappy video blog and the inclusion bookends it all pretty nicely.
